FCF helped plan and coordinate the "Taste of Avon" event. It offered not only samplings from area restaurants, pubs, ice cream and chocolate shops, but also featured additional family-friendly activities. It was a fun-filled weekend of food, friendship and entertainment. Proceeds were donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
A portion of the entertainment included drawings for prizes and a Dunk Tank manned by the cheerleaders and football players from Avon Schools. Local business owners were invited to contribute a product, service or gift certificate.
